With over 125 years of combined glazing experience between them, let us introduce the core staff of Remarkable Glass. As you will see below, we have a very stable and experienced team ready to help you with your project.
Scott Power
General Manager - 9 years with Remarkable Glass.
Scott has been in the glass industry since finishing school. Prior to his employment with Remarkable Glass, Scott spent 18 years with Pilkington. Before joining us, Scott was branch manager of the Pilkington Albany Branch on the North shore of Auckland. Scott is General Manager and oversees all production and installations by Remarkable Glass. Scott's a keen snowboarder and was lured to Queenstown by the outdoor lifestyle on offer. Scott is looking forward to being able to put his vast experience in the glass industry to use with your glazing project. Scott's interests outside of work are his family, golf, snowboarding and motorcycling.
Paul Hutchinson
Sales Manager - 7 years with Remarkable Glass.
Paul is the Sales Manager and Estimator for Remarkable Glass. Prior to establishing Remarkable Glass in 2004, Paul had 8 years based in Auckland with Pilkington. During his time with Pilkington Paul held roles in contract management, business development, and sales management. Paul has also gained international experience from 4 years travelling and working in Europe and Asia. Paul has just recently returned to Remarkable Glass after 2 years working for Viridian Glass in Australia in sales and architectural specification. Paul's interests outside of work are travel, golf, skiing and mountain biking.
René van de Geer
Project Manager - 9 years with Remarkable Glass.
Rene has been involved in the glass industry all his life as the son of a glazier! Rene brings international experience to Remarkable Glass. Rene has been in New Zealand since 1988, when he immigrated to New Zealand from Holland with his family. Rene knows and understands the value of fantastic service after spending 8 years in hospitality management in Auckland. Here in Queenstown Rene is looking forward to being able to look after your glass and glazing requirements. Rene's interests outside of work are his family, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
Micaiah Neale
Project Manager - 8 years with Remarkable Glass
'Mac' as we know Micaiah completed his apprenticeship with Remarkable Glass in 2010. Mac was 1st in class at Trade School and continues to excel at Remarkable Glass. Prior to joining Remarkable Glass, Mac was working in the sheet metal industry so has a great trade background. Mac looks forward to sharing his knowledge and skills to bring your project to fruition. Mac's interests include snowboarding, golf, hunting, beekeeping and motorcycling.
